Jérôme Rossier studied psychology at the University of Lausanne and at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. After work experience at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the National Institutes of Health, United States, and the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, he is currently a full professor of vocational and counseling psychology at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Lausanne. He is the editor of the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance and a member of several editorial boards of  scientific journals such as the Journal of Vocational Behavior. His teaching areas and research interests include counseling, personality, psychological assessment, and cross-cultural psychology. He has published more than 100 scientific articles and book chapters mainly about vocational counseling, cross-cultural, and personality issues.
